Online Story #2:  Penguin, Penguin at starfall.com Ages 4+ and older

This is a non-fiction book for the earliest readers (30 pages with short text).  Younger children will enjoy clicking on the text that is read to them.  Children will take journey from the time a baby penguin chick is born to his maturity.  Visit additional online activities to learn about penguins.
For early readers and writers:
On page 20 watch for a blinking printer icon and print a worksheet  that encourages creative writing.
