Balloon - Trace, Colors and Shapes Practice
Skills:  pre-writing skills (pencil control - suggest clockwise tracing and from top to bottom),  color and shape recognition.  Ideas:  Cut out the decorated balloon and glue to blue paper for a sky background, add cotton ball clouds.

Skills:  pre-writing skills (pencil control), primary colors recognition, sensory textures,  suggest clockwise tracing, identify, colors.  Ideas:  Print the page directly to light blue paper, decorate the inside of balloon with cut-up shapes (use left over foamies, construction or tissue paper) fill clouds with white cotton or torn tissue paper.

Suggestions:  Cut out shapes area on dotted line.  Choose primary and secondary colors and brown for black and white version.  Identify shapes and colors.  Cut out the shapes.  Color wreath, color Santa's cap red, add some cotton balls to beard,  tip and brim of cap.  Color bow any color.  Cut out the wreath to hang as an ornament or glue to a piece of paper of a festive color to create a large greeting card.  Related activities:  Christmas

Identify each color and shape.  Coloring version:  color shapes a different color and cut out.  Color the tree green.  Both versions: match and paste the shapes on the tree.  

Optional: Add large craft sequins or small seasonal stickers.  Cut loosely around the tree shape, add string or ribbon to make an ornament.  Write child's name in the tree base.
