Craft assembly and learning activities (after pieces are decorated and cut out)
  1. Apply glue to the top of the body template, glue the head centered.
  2. Apply glue to the tail and slide under the body on the left or right, apply pressure to glue in place.
  3. Optional: Print letter Hh on the craft in a matching color.

Other decorating ideas:

  • Tape the craft to a craft stick (Popsicle stick) to make a hand puppet.
  • Add a looped ribbon, yarn or string to hang as a decoration.
  • Create a savanna landscape by gluing a simple grassy cut up border, or painting a grassy border with finger paints or using a brush on craft or construction paper. Glue the finished craft over the grassy border. A sun image can be painted in or cut a round yellow circle and paste it in.
