After Jesus resurrected he spent 40 precious days with his disciples and then he had to say good-bye. On this day Jesus gave special instructions and made an important announcement to his disciples.

Under that is a very simple version for children under 4 years of age. Please choose and adapt the version you feel the children are best suited for.

The story of The Ascension is one of great joy. It would seem quite sad to have to say good bye to Jesus so soon, but He does promise to come back and He gives his beloved disciples very important instructions. He instructs his disciples to spread his story around the world.
