Activity: Present the nursery rhyme
Print, read and sing the nursery rhyme poster in the link provided or view at YouTube.
Make sure child understands the meaning of all the words. Identify colors in the picture.
Children under 2 will benefit greatly from singing, using puppets, stuffed animals, and/or finger plays with nursery rhymes.
|Activity: Coloring Page Activity
Children will have fun coloring and or painting Jack and Jill. Print the coloring pages in the link provided. Provide a variety of materials to color and/or paint the page. Discuss the letter J in the names Jack and Jill.
Activity: Letter J Alphabet Buddy Craft
Print the template of letter J Alphabet Buddy - Jenny J. I am sure Leanne, the creator of the Alphabet Buddies, will not mind if we change Jennie's name to Jill for the purpose of the activity. The template is available in color or black and white.
Children can decorate and color the template if printed in black and white. Adult may need to assist cutting the pieces and children cn assemble and glue pieces. Optional: Attach a craft stick for a hand puppet.
